Brittani, CVT/Practice Manager, serves as Schroeck Veterinary Care's Pet Import & Export Consultant. With extensive veterinary experience and specialized knowledge of domestic and international pet travel requirements, Brittani works closely with pet owners to create customized travel plans and ensure all regulatory requirements are met before departure.
From researching destination-specific regulations to coordinating health certificates and USDA endorsements, Brittani helps guide families through every step of the pet travel process.
What Does a Pet Travel Consultant and USDA Accredited Veterinarian Do?
Travel requirements vary significantly by state and country, and can change frequently. Our Pet Travel Consultant researches and interprets destination-specific regulations, evaluates each pet's medical history, and develops customized travel plans to help owners prepare for a smooth journey.
The consultant acts as a liaison between pet owners, veterinarians, government agencies, and regulatory authorities throughout the travel preparation process.
Our USDA Accredited Veterinarians are specially authorized to perform the examinations, diagnostics, treatments, documentation, and certifications required for domestic and international pet travel.

This consultation allows you to obtain all of details that traveling with your pet will entail, so you can make an educated decision on if traveling with your pet would be feasible, prior to moving forward with veterinary visits and diagnostics that may end up being redundant.

Final admission of any animal is solely at the discretion of the destination country's customs, agricultural, veterinary, and border control authorities at the time of arrival. Even when all known requirements have been met and all supporting documentation has been obtained, entry may be denied based on the determination of the receiving authorities. Such decisions are outside the control of Schroeck Veterinary Care, its veterinarians, and staff.
